HOLIDAY!

My Mom is one of the nicest, and sweetest person in the world. Especially when she VOLUNTEERS, yes I said volunteers to take the rug rats for a night at her house. Then doesn't bring them back till late the next day. Sigh. Sniff..sniff..I love ya MOM! Anywho I am sure you are wondering what exciting and magical things happened while the kids were away. Well for starters I found my sanity! Well what little I had left, which I tell you isn't alot! (but we'll take it am I right ladies?) Oh yeah I slept in, sort of. I watched a movie all by myself. Yep I know magical and exciting. (Oh by the by DON'T, and I mean DON'T watch P.S. I love you UNLESS you want to cry four 3 hours straight. I don't mean a tear or two either, I am talking about opening the flood gates!) All in all it sounds pretty boring when you write it all out, but trust me it was heaven on earth.

Feelings..whoa whoa whoa feelings....

Heehee OK so lately I have been mental. Yeah we all know you say. Actually you probably said "Lately?" I know I have been mental for a while, but I guess I have finally kind of comes to terms with my mental state. So to speak. I have also narrowed down the problem. Time management. I suck at it! Like now when I am supposed to be doing laundry, and the dishes I on the computer. Well hold on I am going to start a load now. BRB. OK I'm back. Sorry. You know what I am saying though right? I mean clean underwear goes along way to improving your mental state right? Well I Also need to fix my spiritual time management. If I spend half of my day on the computer, and the other half cleaning enough to get by, how much time does that leave for the spiritual side of my life? I mean of course I pray all day, any mother with kids home for the summer does. "Please don't let the kids blow up the house. Please don't let anything catch on fire. Please help me to be able to ignore them so I can sleep till 10:00.=)"I don't see anything wrong with the last one.heehee I don't know. I guess I am rambling. I guess I need to stop talking about it and just DO IT! OK I am off! Later!=)

I have to give a shout out for my Nathan. This past week has been really troubling for me and I know everyone always says it but I can't think of any other way to put it...."With out him I don't know where I would be." He is my rock and my helper. I am grateful for his testimony of the gospel and Jesus Christ. He has taught me so much, and I am very thankful for him. Nathan you are the best!=)

Mental state

OK something is wrong with me. No I mean it...I am totally mental! Then my sweet Mother in law gets my hopes up that she is going to give me some "good stuff" to help with the blues, but come to find out she was just kidding! WE DON'T KID THAT WAY SANDRA!=)just kidding I love my mother in law she is the best! If anyone knows what I am going through it would be her. She has 5 boys. That's right ladies I said 5. She has had her couch set on fire by a flare. She has had her chair in the living room and part of her carpet caught on fire.(this was just a couple of years ago by 2 of her sons. they were 30 and 22 years old at the time.heehee Also the only two who didn't become eagle scouts. Imagine that.) Her back yard looked like a dirt bike course till a few years ago. You name it her boys have probably done it. She said she reached a time in her life when she was scared to answer the door, scared of what her boys had done next. So I guess all in all I need to stop complaining. I still have my couch, I kind of have a yard, and there are no flares to speak of in my house.=) All's good I guess. Well I guess I could still use some "good stuff''!=)

Memorial Day fun

My arm is finally doing better (thanks for asking=) So here it is...

Our Memorial Day Vacation

As you can see we are very happy to be going!Family FUN!!!!!!!(We don't get out much)

This is the hotel room. It was very comfortable, two double beds,and a fold out sofa, all snuggled in with a little kitchenette. Very cozy.=)

See if you can guess who took these next set of pictures. Look and see who's missing. I will give you a hint...it's not Noah.(He is off playing in traffic somewhere..just kidding.)

Here was Noah having a "grumpy" day. He was trying to hide from me. Bad Noah. Which brings us to the $50 corn dogs. Yeah if you are ever hungry outside of the Museum of Natural Science in Raleigh, DON'T I repeat DON'T go and grab anything from the hot dog vendor unless you are willing to pay an arm and a leg!And it was burned!!!!!

The rest of the time was spent relaxing in the pool ,and hot tub, watching TV(cable TV what a treat!)and just being a family. We did go out to eat and see a movie too. It was a lot of fun!Raleigh is one of our favorite places to go!

On our Menu today we have:

Delicious Chuck Roast severed with tender red potatoes, celery, green peppers, and onions, roasted to tender perfection, along with the ever popular Squash casserole; made famous by Paula Deen.

(Ok it looked better before I got to it=)Trust me.

Then for desert we have a lovely Strawberry cake. Delicious moist strawberry cake topped with sweet ripe strawberries and whipped topping. Yes ladies it is filled with creamy strawberry filling. Enough to make any mouth water.

So are you hungry now or what!=) Thanks Nathan for the wonderful meal!!!!
