Laid up?

Is the term laid up or laid out? I don't know. Anyway I won't be posting anything for about a week. I have done something to my arm and it hurts to type on the computer, weird huh. So sorry, but the thrilling and outrageous story of our memorial day weekend will have to wait. Let me just say how much would you pay for 5 corn dogs,2 funnel cakes, and 3 lemonades...you are probably thinking 5 bucks right, WRONG FIFTY DOLLARS!!!! I KNOW!!More on that later!=)

Mocha the hamster

OK so I was looking around on the web and I came across this little bit of goodness.(the video above this post) I thought to myself, "Someone made a video of their baby hamster eating broccoli? Boring!" Well my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to watch it. Apparently I have nothing better to do than to watch a hamster eat broccoli, or maybe this is just my way of dealing with the yelling, screaming, stinking mess that is my house right now. Well whatever it is it worked. I found myself ooooing and aweing at the cute little bugger, and feeling better in the process. So whenever I get stressed I will just remember the determination of that cute little hamster, and know that a little broccoli goes a long way.

The Finer Things!

Well I know most of you haven't seen the office so I will explain. Pam(the main girl on the office) and 2 of her other co workers, Toby(everything that is wrong with their company=),and Oscar(who called it the gayest thing he does) make this club; the finer things. They eat on real plates, eat little sandwiches, and drink tea. Well I was thinking yesterday, why can't we have a finer things club? Well we are!!! Yeah! Alot of people have come up to me at church and asked when are we doing a bookclub? Well we are going to combine them. It will be like an English tea party. The book we will be reading will be The Host, by Stephanie Meyers. I am not sure of the date but it will be towards the end of June. Maybe june 24th.? I am not sure, would it be better on the weekend or during the week? Well we will see. I am thinking fun times!!! And yes it will look exactly like this. Just you wait and see!!!!!! Everyone is invited!! I can't wait!!!

Man's best friend?

Whoever said dogs were a man's best friend never met this kitty! Oreo has been wonderful! She is already using the litter box, knock on wood, and she loves attention! She loves to cuddle Nathan, and has become partial to him.We did have a scare yesterday when Noah dropped her because she scratched him. She started meowing her head off, and wouldn't walk on one of her legs. I was freaking out!! So as the day went on she started limping on it, and today she is just limping a little. Sigh...that was close! She is a really good cat, and I know she was meant for us. Nathan is really funny with her, and I just never thought he would EVER want a cat. Looks like I was wrong.

Today Nathan called and told me he wanted a cat. HUH?!!!What?!!!I don't even know who you are anymore! So anyway I found this little cutie in our price range(aka free) on craigslist.(also she was right down the road from us less than 5miles) So welcome the newest member of the Harward Family......Duchess Oreo, hufflepuff, daisy, princess, Consuela Harward. Oreo for short.heehee.

Don't blink!

I have to give a shout out to Mandi! She has taken some beautiful pics of Emma in her baptism dress. Thank you so much Mandi! They are wonderful!!! I love them! I can't believe it that Emma is 8. I know I keep saying this, but it has really effected me this time. She is my baby girl and I am sooo proud of her! I am grateful for the blessing of eternity. This life flies by at an amazing speed. One day we wake up and we are kids, the only thing we worry about is toys and having fun. The next second here we are having kids. We are married and have one kid, and are pregnant with the second. Then again here I am I have four wonderful kids, one of which is eight years old. How can that be possible when she was just born yesterday?!! Again I am grateful for the temple. I am grateful that this life is only the beginning, sorry Emma but you are stuck with me for a looooooooooooong time!
